Behind the Name

Named after the late Mahogany Prime Steakhouse Area Partner, Jim Blanchard, Jimmy B’s is Hal Smith Restaurant’s 17th concept complete with an atmosphere unlike any other. Jim Blanchard had worked 24 years for Hal Smith Restaurants and left behind the legacy of excellence and precision in hospitality. This one’s for you, Jim!

Meet our Executive General Manager – Jeremy Gilbert

Jeremy joined Hal Smith Restaurants in November 2018, with 16 years of restaurant management experience, 12 of those years with multi-unit leadership. He completed training and managed the bar, front and back of house at Charleston’s Restaurant in Edmond, Oklahoma. Jeremy takes pride in ensuring that every experience will exceed your every expectation!

Meet our Chef – Chef Brad Johnson.

Longtime corporate chef Brad Johnson has collaborated on many of HSR concepts’ menus for over 20 years. His knowledge of a variety of cuisines and expertise in flavor profiling have contributed to the uniqueness of the Jimmy B’s menu. A few of our menu items feature ingredients directly from Chef Brad’s family farm located in Asher, Oklahoma.

Sara McDanel, Director of Training and Continued Education, is the reason you find comfort and consistency at any of our HSR restaurants. McDanel has been with HSR for 17 years and continues to establish teams unlike any other, including the Jimmy B’s team. We look forward to serving you and making your experience unforgettable; hence our motto: “Raising the Bar”.

We pride ourselves in sourcing only the freshest fish from the Outer Banks, Hawaii, Norway, and beyond. Local Pasta

All of our pasta dishes are sourced locally from Della Terra Pasta. Established in 2011 by Chef Richard Becker, Della Terra Pasta works directly with millers and farmers to source high quality wheats to produce a variety of premium, artisanal pastas. You can find Della Terra Pasta in our Noodles & Veggies, Chicken Meatballs with Spaghetti, and the Thai Steak & Noodle Salad.
